I just want some Chips
2026

This is an interactive video archive installation exploring how geopolitics shapes today's chip manufacturing industry. Audiences act the role of a 1980s semiconductor factory worker through a virtual microscope, performing wire bonding, the chip-packaging process. 

By connecting different chips, audiences not only simulate the physical process of chip fabrication, but gradually uncover the socio-political substrate beneath these connections. Witnessing how Taiwan, under pressure from multiple directions at once, has built what is known as the 'Silicon Shield'. A form of protection granted precisely because all sides need it, yet one that is, within that same need, increasingly asked to surrender the very irreplaceability it depends on.

Everyone™ Owns the Space
2026

By the mid-21st century, humanity's relentless pursuit of space exploration had given rise to an expansive infrastructure network in low Earth orbit (LEO). During this period, a corporation known as Everyone™ leveraged an accumulation of government contracts and strategic acquisitions to consolidate overwhelming bargaining power, ultimately monopolising over 90% of all LEO satellite maintenance operations. Drawn by the allure of space and the promise of exceptional remuneration, many individuals chose to take up contract-based satellite maintenance work aboard Everyone™'s orbital stations — until the day a solar storm struck…
